Control Solutions Inc. (CSI), a leading specialty chemical manufacturer, announced the appointment of Bob Stanton as Director of Operations. In this role, Stanton will oversee operational strategy, supply chain performance, and manufacturing support as the company continues to grow its portfolio of legacy and differentiated solutions. Stanton will report to Trey Kendrick, President and CEO of CSI and Head of ADAMA Professional Solutions.
Stanton brings more than 30 years of global experience across crop and non-crop businesses, with deep expertise in procurement, supply chain leadership, and product supply operations. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Reading, an MBA from the Aston Business School, and a postgraduate degree in Procurement and Supply Chain from Robert Gordon University.
Stanton spent 25 years with Bayer Crop Science, where he held multiple senior leadership roles, including Vice President leading product supply teams in Asia-Pacific and India, global sourcing leadership for herbicides and insecticides, and formulation plant management in the UK. He also served as Senior Vice President for Global Product Supply at Envu in the United States. Most recently, Stanton founded “In the Pocket,” an independent coaching and consulting business supporting supply chain leaders.
“Bob brings deep operational expertise and a results-driven mindset to CSI,” said Kendrick. “He has a proven track record of improving processes, enhancing efficiencies, and providing the support needed to ensure we continue operating at the highest level.”
In his role, Bob will oversee CSI’s 48,000-square-foot in-house manufacturing facility, encompassing four filling lines, aerosol and micro-encapsulation plants, and in-house order fulfillment. He will focus on quality control, process consistency, and ensuring all products meet CSI’s rigorous standards across every business unit.
Stanton and his partner, Mangai, will relocate to the Houston area from Raleigh, North Carolina. Outside of work, he enjoys playing bass guitar, photography, gardening, outdoor activities, and spending time with family.
