We are proud to present Vector Kleer, the newest offering in the CSI product line up. This minimum-risk insecticide meets the criteria of being FIFRA 25(b) exempt and provides best in class efficacy.
In the last 10 years, Control Solutions, Inc. has launched more than a dozen new products specifically designed for the professional pest control market. These products have offered PMPs new active ingredient combinations, new application options, and innovative solutions to complex, real-world pest problems. At CSI, we recognize the demand for new, more environmentally friendly product offerings and today, our team is pleased to announce the introduction of our first venture into FIFRA 25(b) exempt essential-oil based insecticides.
Pest management professionals and consumers alike, have become increasingly demanding of “green” service options; ones that are less impactful to the environment, safe (when applied as directed) for, and fit with green pest management services. Our team of formulators, analytical chemists, entomologists, technical support and regulatory specialists worked to develop a product that would meet these needs while also delivering enhanced efficacy.
The journey from idea to product was guided by our commitment to provide economical and reliable solutions that have solidified Pest Management Professional’s trust in CSI products. This launch is not only about introducing a new product in the CSI portfolio, but also a testament to our overall commitment to innovation, flexibility, sustainability, and stewardship of the environment.
Vector Kleer – Your “KLEER” Choice for pest control
Vector Kleer provides excellent control of mosquitoes, flies, and fleas, which are important vectors of disease to both humans and their pets. This product can be used for outdoor premises, fogging, and misting applications for mosquitoes, flies, and fleas. Additionally, this product provides exceptional repellency of mosquitoes and has been tested to be compatible in a variety of equipment and mosquito misting systems.
Stringent efficacy requirements of many state pesticide regulatory agencies have been met or exceeded , specifically guidelines created by the Association of Structural Pesticide Control Officials. Multiple efficacy studies against vector pests were conducted by third party cooperators and entomologists at CSI, to ensure that Vector Kleer delivers on efficacy of important public health pests.
Enhanced Formulation with Flexible Applications
Vector Kleer is a liquid concentrate formulated with not 2, not 3, but 4 essential oils to provide a robust defense against pests without compromising environmental impact. This water-based, essential oil formulation easily mixes with water and limits wear and tear on equipment. The chemists at CSI worked to develop this novel formulation to reduce separation and enhance longevity of the active ingredients, while also reducing phytotoxicity to plants that is common with other essential oil-based formulations.
Vector Kleer is highly concentrated with essential oils, has low use rates (1.5-3 oz. per 1,000 square feet) and reduced phytotoxicity to plants. Vector Kleer can be used both indoors and outdoors in non-food areas and to treat residential and commercial structure perimeters, modes of transportation, the exteriors of livestock and companion animal perimeters, boat docks, as well as crack and crevice uses. Its pleasant scent and built in surfactant make it flexible and adaptable to many types of service needs.
As we at CSI celebrate this milestone, we remain focused on the future of professional pest management as we set a new standard for pest control, by offering alternative solutions such as Vector Kleer, an essential oil insecticide. Stay tuned as we write more in this exciting chapter of CSI history.
