Getting Ready for Anthracnose

Anthracnose can be difficult once it is active on putting greens

We have had cooler than average temperatures this spring in the Northwest. Don’t let the moderate weather in the spring delay preparations for anthracnose control for the summer. Because anthracnose can be difficult once it is active on putting greens, having a sound preventative program is key for A stress-free summer.

PREVENTION PROGRAM

The timing of the first application of the season has shown to be critical when it comes to preventing anthracnose on putting greens. Once you begin the prevention program, it is important to follow up with preventive applications every 2 to 3 weeks to prevent and control anthracnose.

STARTING NO LATER THAN JUNE 15TH

  • 1st application Tebuconazole 3.6F
  • 2nd application Flex-Guard and Strobe 2L
  • 3rd application Chlorothalonil 720 SFT and TM 4.5

New call-to-action

Rotating the 2nd and 3rd applications over July, August and September will give you exceptional control and prevention of Anthracnose all season long.

CONCLUSIONS

Anthracnose tends to linger during the fall if not properly managed during the summer months. This program is designed for effective management and to provide the best results possible. If you have any questions, please reach out to your local area Quali-Pro representative.
