We’ve taken two, tried and true IGRs, novaluron + pyriproxyfen, and combined them with hydroprene, which translocates from the application site. Hydroprene has the ability to penetrate deep into voids, cracks and crevices, reaching populations of pests not accessible through normal applications. Never before have Pest Management Professionals had such a powerful insect growth regulator combination in their hands to help wipe out persistent pest problems. We’ve created an innovate, new combination chemistry product with 3 of the most proven, effective IGRs on the market today, providing a powerful tool for PMPs to manage pest populations.
Tekko Trio’s three active ingredients work together to prevent insects from completing their development and ultimately to stop future generations. In commercial kitchens, this proprietary product is the perfect solution to manage small fly populations. Areas such as floor drains, catch basins, mop closets, floors, under shelves, and other moist breeding areas can be directly treated, and breeding/reproduction of fly populations can be stopped. Other hard to clean areas known to breed flies such as loose or missing grout around tiles, under bar mats and around garbage or refuse areas can also be treated using Tekko Trio, breaking the life cycle of the insects breeding there.
Why use Tekko Trio?
IGRs such as the ones in Tekko Trio disrupt the life cycle of insects. Cockroaches, fruit flies, bed bugs and stored product pests are all affected. Tekko Trio works by disrupting the life cycle of listed pests, stopping normal development, preventing normal molting and inhibiting egg production. This means the population cannot grow.
Tekko Trio contains three different IGR active ingredients with two distinct modes of action to help with insecticide resistance management. Tekko Trio is not meant to kill adult insects. If there is an active infestation at the time of applicatoin, a combination with an adulticide is highly recommended.
With simple dilution rates, Tekko Trio makes mixing and measuring easy so PMPs can spend more time solving their customer’s problems and less time reading and interpreting labels!
