This is an interesting time to be both a manufacturer and a turf manager. Take a realistic view of our industry. It may feel like we are losing active ingredients to regulations faster than the industry can innovate new chemistries to accomplish your daily tasks. Unfortunately, this is an all-too-common reality for all of us in the turf care industry. As manufacturers, it leaves us with three levers we can pull when it comes to “innovation.” First, there are new AI formulations, and this is what we all know and love as a truly “new product.” These can change the industry when it comes to managing a specific disease, pest, or weed. While we all strive to bring these to market, this type of development often takes years and is happening less often. This powerful combo provides turf managers with a selective post-emergent solution, labeled to control 60 weeds in Bermuda, Centipede, and Zoysia grass. Most importantly, it’s targeted at Goosegrass, Nutsedge, Crabgrass, and Dallisgrass, some of the most difficult-to-control species in southern turf varieties. It also covers numerous broadleaf weeds, giving you one product to enhance your playing surfaces with maximum efficiency.

Smokeshow: Versatile Weed Control Backed by Proven Application Strategies

Smokeshow is labeled for use in golf course roughs, fairways, residential and commercial lawns, and athletic fields. We recommend two treatment options; the first is two split applications of 8oz/acre 35 days apart, and for heavier weed pressure we recommend an initial treatment of 11oz/acre with a repeat application of 8-11oz./acre 35 days later. With these programs, we are confident you will achieve maximum control in a short period of time, allowing you to focus on other aspects of maintaining your property.
