Control Solutions Inc. (CSI), a hybrid chemical manufacturer of turf management, pest management, animal health, and consumer products, announced the addition of John Koehler as a new Technical Services Manager, Quali-Pro. In this role, Koehler will report to Dr. Janis Reed, Director of Product Development, driving innovation and delivering results for CSI’s Quali-Pro division.
John graduated with a M.S. from University of Missouri in Plant, Insect, and Microbial Sciences and a B.S. from the University of Illinois in Molecular and Cellular Biology. His graduate thesis topic was on managing large patch on zoysiagrass through fertilizer and fungicide application timing.
Koehler began his career being mentored by Dr. Lee Miller in turfgrass management and pathology for the golf and turf space. His previous experience addressing customers' unique challenges has prepared him to take on complex opportunities and contribute to the Quali-Pro team.
Koehler has 8 years of industry experience, most recently with The Clorox Company, where he served as R&D Innovation Manager. His experience includes time at Scotts Miracle-Gro and Hazel Technologies.
John joins the development team with a deep understanding of innovation and product launches. He has been responsible for launching lawn fertilizer and grass seed products as well as post-harvest technology in fruits and vegetables.

In his spare time, John enjoys travelling, cooking, and especially playing golf. John resides in the Chicago area, where he was born and raised.
